I'm not gonna play This or That this week, cause there's a lot of questions that just go right over my head. So I think I'll answer a question from The Topics Blog.

What is your opinion of on-line relationships (romantic, friendship, etc.)?

Well, I think they are, and can be, just as legit as real life friendships. Obviously, there is more of a chance that the person is not honest, but there are plenty of honest people on the net too. One way to think of it is as high-tech pen pals. Anyway, I've met some really good friends online. A couple of them I would consider among my best friends. As far as relationships go....well....it can happen but it's not easy. I think the internet can start the relationship, but there must be a real life aspect to it to make it a real relationship. I DO think you can fall in love with someone on the net. Of course it's risky, but it can happen. Bascially, I think the internet is just one more way to meet people. It's not perfect because the face-to-face aspect isn't there, but it can still be useful and rewarding if you use it right and get lucky.
