Welcome to the pond

Arrrghh!! When we were just getting in the car to go home from my grandparents' housewarming, the little screw holding up part of my glasses fell out!! I hate when that happens, and it could be very dangerous because my eyesight is bad without them. Haha I had to wear my OLD old glasses, which don't work well now because my eyesight has gotten so much worse over the years. And they are HEAVY glasses, not comfortable at all to wear. But my mom got a temporary fix and all is well.

I'm in a Zydeco mood today, so I've been listening to both of my Zydeco CD's: Buckwheat Zydeco "Ultimate Hits" and C.J. Chenier "Step it Up!" They are both great discs, and I'd highly recommend the Buckwheat one. It has nearly all of his big hits on it, I think, so it's a great album to have.

In other news, I got to talk to a dear friend for quite a long time today. In a world of 10 and 15-minute chats, an hour-long chat is very refreshing.
