Happy Early Birthday to ME!!!!! I bought some new tunes today: "Audioslave" by.....Audioslave!! If you've been living under a rock, Audioslave is the merger of the musicians of Rage Against the Machine and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden!! Rage and Soundgarden are obviously both dead as bands, so their former members decided to join together. I recently rediscovered Chris Cornell and now HIGHLY admire his vocals, so that's the motivating factor in me purchasing this CD. Plus it just rocks!!
So far, I love this CD. It has some of its hard rocking moments, and some slower moments. But the highlight for me is Chris' lyrics!! Very intense, deep lyrics. Each song makes you think and reflect. Sort of like Elvis Costello only a LOT easier to understand!! I'm sure I'll post more thoughts as time goes on, and eventually I may write a review of it.
Two more days until my birthday!!! yay!!
