Welcome to the pond

Well, I'm back from the (sometimes) great outdoors!!

We were camped at this spot by a creek running through some great big rocks. Very slippery!! And cold water!! We swam for a long while on Saturday and Sunday. We found this place similar to our spot, where there's a calmer spot of water that's not too slippery. We had a blast! I looked like a dork, having a hard time getting down the steep paths to these places, but that's just me. And the dogs had a blast too, they're learning how to swim.

Other than that, we just sat around and chatted and I read and listened to my CD's. I listened to quite a few! Not every song on every CD, but most of them.

Tomorrow, I'll post some poems I wrote while we were camping (and one I have yet to write but will tomorrow) at my poetry blog. Well, that's all for now. I'm glad to be back, and I'll blog at y'all later!!
