Happy Halloween

Hello again!! I've had quite a nice Halloween today. I spent most of the evening watching Halloween-related programs on the History Channel. The first two programs were about Dracula - the book, the myth, and the real person. There was a lot of information about the history of vampires and Romania, and the 15th century prince Vlad Dracula. One program showed some of his present-day descendants and their research into their past. A third program I watched was on the history of Halloween from its pagan roots to its modern trick-or-treating atmosphere. All the programs were very interesting and entertaining too.

We've also had some trick-or-treaters come by for goodies. We've got good candy for them, and I'm sure we'll enjoy what's left after this night is over.

Once again, Happy Halloween to everyone (even though you're all reading this after the fact) and Happy Samhain to my Wiccan and Pagan friends!!
