New Music and Feast Time

Today my favorite local music store was having a REALLY good sale, so I picked up a couple albums I had been meaning to buy eventually. Both of them just happened to be a part of that sale, so rock on!! I bought The Jimi Hendrix Experience "Are You Experienced?" because, well, Jimi is a rock and roll God. I also bought Jonny Lang's "Wander This World," which I was going to put on my Christmas list. Now I won't need to! How much did I get these CDs for? $8.99 apiece!!! You cannot beat that price!

Friday's Feast is taking a break this week, but thanks to Lisa we get some questions anyway.

Name three books you've read recently
The last three books I've read were "New York: An Illustrated History," "Along Came A Spider" by James Patterson, and "Dream Brother: The Lives and Music of Jeff and Tim Buckley" by David Browne. I'm now reading "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley.

I'm not really into cars, but something sporty would be nice.

You're the world's foremost expert on X. What is X and why?
I don't think I'm really an expert at anything, but I do know a lot about the music of BeauSoleil and the Afro Celt Sound System. Jeff Buckley too, but not as much as I should.

Main Course
Describe your fantasy vacation.
I'd go to Hawaii, Norway, Ireland, Scotland and Italy with my friends Beth and Jessica. We'd have a lot of fun sightseeing, swimming, shopping, and just relaxing. I'm sure we'd also try to find some of the local music in each place, since all three of us love music.
