Happy Friday everyone! Once again it's time for the Top Five On Friday, so here it is:

Top 5 "Live" Songs. (This could be songs from live albums or songs that are better performed live)

I could definitely pick five songs that I've heard live, but I think I'll stick to songs from the five live albums I own.

1) Tullochgorum from Natalie MacMaster "Live." I've seen Natalie perform this song twice, and I have it on her "Live" album too. It's a great showcase of her fiddling talents and really captivates the audience each time she plays it. Great stuff from a great lady.

2) Cluck Old Hen from Alison Krauss and Union Station "Live." There are many good songs on Union Station's live double-disc package, but I think "Cluck Old Hen" is my favorite. They do really well on their instrumentals.

3) Le Jig Francais by BeauSoleil. Ok I lied, I'm going to include a song I saw performed in concert. BeauSoleil can make anything sound good live, but this song is especially amazing. Lots of good fiddling from Michael Doucet. It's ridiculously easy to dance to.

4) What Will You Say from Jeff Buckley "Mystery White Boy." This song only EXISTS in live versions, and each one is wonderful. Jeff put so much emotion into this song each time he sang it, and it's great to have this amazing version on CD to listen to whenever I feel like it.

5) Dink's Song from Jeff Buckley "Live at Sin-E Legacy Edition." Amazing. Simply amazing. Highly recommended. Jeff at his absolute best.

Those only live versions are so wonderful. Elvis Costello has a few like that.

Great answers and thanks for playing.
