I guess my first paying job was writing for the youth section in the local newspaper my senior year of high school.

Out of state, I'd go to Hawaii or Norway. In state, I'd go to the footbridge over the Willamette River. I always felt at peace out there when I was in school.

They taught me to be a good, responsible, fair person.

Dessert - Name 3 fads from your teenage years.
In seventh grade, the big fad was taking the caps off Snapple bottles and snapping them wherever you went. In eighth, it was yo-yos and pogs. All throughout middle school, it was No Fear t-shirts.
