Welcome to the pond

This was meant to be posted yesterday, but Blogger wasn't working right the entire day and I couldn't post at all. Looks like they're back up again though, yay!

My friend Jessica sent me a $25 Circuit City gift card yesterday for my birthday!! Thanks Jessica!! She rocks!! She also sent me a couple cute greeting cards with kittens on the front.

There's not much else to report today. It's been raining off and on the past few days, so I can't go on a walk or anything. Hopefully we'll get some consistently sunny weather when my birthday comes around. As much as I complain about the rain, we do need it because we're fixin' for a drought this summer.

There's not much going on musicially either. I have been attempting to get into Wilco, and so far it's working very well. I've heard so much about them, and the only time I've really heard much of their stuff was when I saw them on Austin City Limits a few weeks ago. Other than that, I haven't really discovered any new bands. I've been listening to a lot of BeauSoleil, of course, as
well as some Jeff Buckley and Aerosmith. I can't wait to get some new CDs for my birthday. I think I know pretty much what I'm going to get. There's just TOO many good albums out there to buy!!
