I've had a very shitty week (not going to go into the hows and whys) but I'm not going to let it stop me from blogging, no matter how small the post.

My favorite record store is having a pretty big sale this weekend, so I'm going down there yet again tomorrow to see what there is to buy. Apparently they're having a sidewalk sale with $4 CDs. I don't know what CDs they'll have, but I still must go in case there's something there that I must have.

Country star Trace Adkins has a single and video out now called "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" (badonkadonk referring to the large posterior of many a black woman). Is it just me, or is that totally WRONG? I'm sick of this mixing of country and hip hop, it's NOT natural. The Nelly and Tim McGraw song worked well because it was neither too hip-hoop nor too country. The Cowboy Troy song was cute for a while, but that's all. From this point on, I would like to see the words "badonakdonk" "bling-bling" and anything ending in "izzle" banned from country songs.

You're sooo right about this. (This is what I hate about contemporary country music. At least the women aren't sinking to that, are they?)
