Hi people! I've got another meme for your enjoyment. Here's the Wednesday Mind Hump (it's forefathers day):

1. Where are your forefathers from? Ever been to those countries?

I have relatives from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Germany, and Britain. I've never been to Europe, so the answer to the second question is no.

2. Are you related to any famous people? Any kings or queens in your family tree?

I'm distantly related to former President Richard Nixon, and I also have a couple former NHL hockey players in the family tree.

3. Think about the first person in your family to come to this country from somewhere else. If you could ask that person anything, what would you ask them?

I'd ask them about the family in the old country. Where they're from, who they are, what sort of traditions they have. I don't know much about the pre-United States history of my dad's side of the family, so I'd love to know more about the people who share my last name and the history of our family.

4. What's one thing you want to do before the year ends?

I want to take more photos of my niece! She won't be this young forever, so I want to capture her cuteness for all time while I can.
