It's time for Take Me Back Tuesday:

What are a few of you favorite albums from last year?

Anatomic by Afro Celt Sound System; Why Should The Fire Die? by Nickel Creek; Mighty Rearranger by Robert Plant; X&Y by Coldplay

What are a few of your current favorite songs?

"In The Sun" by Joseph Arthur (heard it covered on a recent Coldplay performance on Austin City Limits)
"Chicago" by Sufjan Stevens
"Speed Of Sound" by Coldplay
"The Beat" by Elvis Costello

What bands do you hope do more recording/touring in the coming year?

Beausoleil, as always. I also hope Audioslave releases another album like they've hinted. And, of course, I'd like to see the Afro Celt Sound System do something good. Maybe this is the year for a live DVD?

That Coldplay on Austin City Limits was great. Nightswimming, which they also did with Michael Stipe, is one of my favorite songs of all time. I thought it was cool how the guitar was used to recreate the orchastra thats on the orginal recording of the song.
