Another Friday is here. We're almost a half a month into the new year. Time is going by fast.
Here's this week's Top Five On Friday:
Top 5 "royal" songs. (songs with kings, queens etc in the title)
1) "Killer Queen" by Queen
2) "Rain King" by Counting Crows
3) "God Save The Queen" by the Sex Pistols
4) "The Wind Cries Mary" by Jimi Hendrix Experience. Well, there have been Queen Marys, right? And the song has the great lyric "Somewhere a Queen is weeping, somewhere a King has no wife."
5) The all time best song mentioning a monarch is "Her Majesty" by The Beatles. Even when the Beatles were breaking up, they managed to keep their quirky sense of humor.
