Flickr Fun Saturday
We've had rain pretty much every day for the past week lately. It's a bummer after the few weeks of sunshine we had earlier, but that's what you get with Spring.
In honor of the gloomy weather, today's FFS is rain-themed.
This first picture says a thousand words about the state of things where I live, and what I'd like the rain to do.
Sometimes rain makes things pretty, like this sidewalk.
Shadow and ripples in a puddle.
Sometimes you get a mist after a good rainfall.
Rain always covers things in little beautiful droplets.
Umbrellas are a must to keep yourself dry.
Rain is an essential part of life, for it makes things grow.
"A lot of rain" - The title of this photo describes things perfectly.
Rain is nature's way of making you reflect on your life - both what you can see and what you think and feel.
Rainwater, after it falls, becomes a part of everything it touches, even becoming the same exact color like what happened to this leaf.
Walking in the rain is nice, but it's even better with a companion.
Rain can be beautiful from afar too.
I have nothing poetic to say about these colorful leaves after a rainfall, but I think they're very pretty.
Where does rain come from? Clouds, of course.
Your reward for sticking through a drenching rain is a beautiful rainbow. It's nature's gift to you.
