Why do I always do the memes late? Well, at least they get done. I've got a great one for you all tomorrow, and it's an original! Oh, wait, so is the Mind Hump. It's Remote Control Day:

1. What are your favorite TV shows? If you can, also tell us the one show you absolutely HATE to miss.

I'm ashamed to admit I love most of the Celebreality shows that VH1 shows. My current VH1 obsession is Supergroup, which ends this week. Thank god, 'cause I've had enough of Sebastian Bach.

I also like: Music videos on any station; "Passport To Europe" and "Great Hotels" on Travel Channel (I'm a Samantha Brown fan); "Taste Of America" and occasionally "Made In America" on Travel Channel. Many shows on Food Network - Rachel Ray's shows, and "Good Eats" with Alton Brown; "Saturday Night Live" and "Mad TV"; "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" although I rarely watch it anymore. It's still my favorite though.; "Family Guy"; "It Takes A Thief" on Discovery; "The Colbert Report" and occasionally "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central; "Austin City Limits" on PBS, if there's anyone on that I like; last, but not least, "History Detectives" on PBS.

The one I can't stand to miss is "History Detectives." I had to miss it this week! It will repeat on Sunday, thankfully! I'll catch it then.

2. Who handles the remote control in your household?

I usually watch TV alone, so I have control when I'm watching anything. When my parents watch TV, I think my dad has control of the remote.

3. How many remote controls are there in your house? Not counting your childrens' appliances.

My room - two (TV and DVD). Family Room - two (TV and DVD again). Living room - ditto. I believe that makes six.

4. Do you flip through the channels mindlessly, or do you stick with one or two channels?

If there's anything on that I want to watch, I usually leave it where it is. If there's nothing on, I flip between channels, but mostly on the same channels. I do, however, always flip when there's a commercial on. I don't usually like commercials.

5. Adam Sandler's latest movie is "Click," about a guy who discovers a remote control that works on life. If you could have such a device, how would you put it to use?

I'd probably use it to slow down time! I think time moves way too fast. I'd probably also pause things so I could get more sleep when I'm tired in the morning.
