Take Me Back Tuesday is a day late, so today it's Wayback Wednesday:

Do you buy just released CDs in the store or preorder them online?

I don't usually buy too many new releases, but when I do I can usually find them in stores. One time I pre-ordered Jeff Buckley's Live at Sin-e Legacy Edition because I just had to have it no matter what.

Do you remember a particular CD that was extremely hard to find when it had been recently released?

I don't remember too many of those. I do, however, remember many CDs that I thought should have been in stock but weren't.

To what extent will you go to buy a CD that you just have to have?

If I really have to have it, I can usually find it online somewhere. If I suddenly want a CD RIGHT NOW, sometimes I'll go out and get it that day or the day after.

Have you ever bought a CD on a whim, without knowing the artist, just because you found something pleasing about the album art or that you've only heard one track. Did you end up discovering a new artist, or did the CD find it's way into a Used CD store or the back of your closet?

The only time I can remember doing that is for Damien Rice. I had seen his music video for "Volcano" on TV, and it was so good that I decided to get the album. I don't listen to it too often, but yes I have kept it.

Have you ever purchased a download just because you couldn't find a song any other way?

No, I haven't purchased any for that reason. *wink*

Thanks for playing a day late. I've found those Costello reissues were a pain to find in stores when they were released. Heck they are hard to find now and I think all of them have been reissued :(
