Last month I entered six digital photos in the annual photo contest for the Convention and Visitors Association of Lane County Oregon (CVALCO).
Today is the day the winners are announced and the exhibit for the contest is opened. I went down to the gallery the photos are at to see if any of mine are there. I didn't win, but I do have five, yes, FIVE of the six photos I entered featured in the exhibit. My goal as a photographer is to be in a gallery, and now I am! This is significant because not all of the photos entered made it into the exhibit due to limited gallery space. Five out of my six entries were deemed good enough to be featured! That's so awesome.
I made it! My work is in a gallery! I'm so excited and proud.

Congratulations! That sounds like a huge honor. It's great to see you're earning such high respect for something you love.
Those are fantastic photos! It's no wonder they made it into the gallery! Congratulations!!
