Today I received a very special package. My friend Jess is selling many of her CDs, and she sent me a bunch! I think 28 in all. I paid for them, of course, but I still think it's cool that she's giving me so many. A few of them I've never heard before, and it's always exciting to have new music. The others I've already heard, but I didn't have "official" copies of them. I saved quite a lot of money buying them from her versus buying them from a record store.
Here are some more photos from last Friday:
This is Pre's Trail, a woodchip running trail in the city park. It's named after the late Steve Prefontaine, whom was adored here. I really like this shot, especially the way it moves your eye across the frame.
I fell in love with this tree the minute I first saw it. It stands out against everything else around it. I love the shapes of its branches. It really sparks my imagination, and that's what gets my attention when it comes to trees.
