Today is a very important day in history, so this week's Monday Music Mambo looks at what's great about America instead of dwelling on one of our our most vulnerable days.

Name five songs that celebrate what's great about America. Songs about cars, songs about freedom, songs about food, songs about being independent. Anything that you think sounds like or speaks about what it means to be American, no matter how trivial.

1) "The Boys Of Summer" by Don Henley
2) "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen
3) "Don't Come Around Here No More" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. That's my message to all the terrorists out there.
4) "Rhapsody In Blue" by George Gershwin
5) "Surfin' USA" by The Beach Boys

Yahoooo to surfin'. Truly an American sport.

I think Australians would have to disagree with you on that, Jeff. But Americans certainly popularized it.
