It's Coming On Christmas, They're Cutting Down Trees

I bought the latest Sarah McLachlan album, Wintersong, this afternoon. In case you didn't already know, Wintersong is full of Sarah's versions of Christmas classics like "Silent Night" and "Greensleeves" along with a few Christmas and winter-themed songs.

It's a really good album! Sarah's voice is perfect for Christmas music, just like I thought when I heard about the project. This is a very relaxed album, one for rainy days spent in front of a fire sipping hot cocoa. My favorite songs so far are "River," "Wintersong," "The First Noel/Mary Mary," "I'll Be Home For Christmas," and "In The Bleak Mid-Winter."

This is my first Christmas album purchase, and I'm very happy with it. Sarah treats these old classics very well and her gorgeous voice will enhance your Christmas mood.

I love it too. It's one of my favorite new albums. I'm surprised I like the Aimee Mann disc as well.
