I'm still listening to the radio, and they're now playing "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. This is a "Classic Rock" station, and I'm not saying I don't like the song, but wouldn't it fit better on a jazz or R&B station? It's not classic, and it's not rock, so why are they playing it? I would imagine most of the target group for this station doesn't care to hear modern soulful jazz on a station that is supposed to play rock music.
That's just my opinion. I'm all for playing a great new song, but I think listeners would be better served if it was played on an appropriate station.
