Hello everyone! Did you all have a good holiday? I did, thankfully. I started out sick on Saturday, but got better on Sunday. By Christmas day, I was fine again.
We didn't go to my dad's parents' house on Christmas Eve as we usually do because my grandfather was sick. I still had a good time though, because I spent a lot of time with my sister, listening to music.
Christmas day was pretty crazy, but good as usual. My brother's family came in the morning to join us. My niece had a great time opening her gifts and trying to open all the others' gifts too! We had a nice breakfast of croissants and bacon, and then a few hours later left for my aunt's house.
We had a good time at my aunt's house. There was a lot of food, a lot of people and a lot of gifts! Our dinner featured a wonderful Prime Rib followed by a table covered with cookies, brownies and other yummy desserts.
What did I get? Read on!
From my parents:
M&Ms
Ink cartridges
Batteries
Electronic 20-questions game
(all of the above were in the stocking)
New fitted sheets
The Beatles "Rubber Soul"
The Beatles "Revolver"
Led Zeppelin "II"
Los Lobos "Wolf Tracks"
Return Of The Jedi DVD (with the original film!)
Scrubs Season One DVD
King Kong Extended Edition DVD
ESPN SportsCentury Wayne Gretzky DVD
A package of CD-Rs
A digital camera ornament (we get a new ornament each year from our parents)
From my grandparents:
Two photo albums
A Borders gift certificate
Cash
As you can see, I made out pretty well! I took some of the cash today and bought The Who's "Endless Wire" album. I wanted to get the special edition, which has the extended version of "We Got A Hit" plus a short DVD.
Another Christmas is over, and another year is on the horizon. Time marches on. Some things change, some stay the same.

Looks like you made a killing this Christmas :)
Methinks you should be sneaking out the back in the dark of night, a huge bag loot dragging behind you.
BTW, are you familiar with this band: Kila & OKI? the link is: http://www.kila.ie/ -- heard them this AM on Radio Paradise and I am enchanted. Thought of you...
Wil - I am indeed familiar with Kila. They came here a few years ago and I went to see them perform!
