Appetizer - What was your very first job with a paycheck?

Technically, that was my time spent at the local newspaper, working for the youth section. We got paid every time we had an article published.

Soup - Did you ever lose something really important to you?

When I was younger, maybe seven or eight, I brought a bag of toys and books with me on a camping trip. On the trip back home, I was looking for a toy to play with and realized the bag wasn't with us. I threw a huge fit and made my parents search the truck for it, but we never found it. I'm pretty sure we left it there in the wilderness.

Salad - What is the best Christmas present you ever received?

Family. The gifts are nice and everything, but none of them really come to mind when I think about the "best" thing I've received.

Main Course - Tell about a favorite "hang out" place for you and your friends when you were in high school.

I mostly hung out in the art room at school, because that's where the school paper offices were located.

Dessert - Name something that always brings a smile to your face.

My niece always brings a smile to my face, of course.
