I just found out today that Ahmet Ertegun passed away on Tuesday. Ahmet, who lived to the age of 83, is the founder of Atlantic Records, a very famous and successful r&b and rock label (among other genres). Ahmet brought us some of the very best musicians of the past fifty-plus years and made a huge number of friends in and out of the music industry.
You will be missed, Ahmet!
