Microwave Oven Day is the theme today at the Wednesday Mind Hump.

1. How old is your microwave oven?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say seven or eight years. The truth is that I cannot recall, at all, when we bought it.

2. How many times in a day do you use your microwave oven, and what do you usually use it for?

I use it 2-5 times per day. I heat up lunch, if necessary. I reheat dinner if it gets cold. I heat up snacks at night. I couldn't survive without it.

3. What's your favorite microwavable treat?

Microwave popcorn, without a doubt. Corndogs are a close second.

When I was a freshman in college, I learned the hard way why we don't put aluminum foil in the microwave.
