Flickr on Saturday, but no fun

I was insanely busy today, so I didn't have much time to post a Flickr Fun Saturday. Instead, I'll post some photos that I took yesterday. They are photos of the Iraq Body Count Memorial, a traveling exhibit that uses little flags to visually represent the casualties of the Iraq war. It is at the University of Oregon this week. Each white flag represents six dead Iraqi civilians and soldiers, and each red flag represents one dead American soldier.









If it didn't have such a horrible meaning, the exhibit would be beautiful. Instead, it is beautifully horrible.
