Today, someone (probably folks from the City or County) cut down my favorite neighborhood tree.
I loved that tree, man. It had character. I don't think anyone knows how old it is, when it was planted, or who planted it. I do know that it was one of my favorite trees to photograph. So tall, so unique, so strange!
Goodbye, old tree. I'm glad I got to photograph you while I still had the chance.

It looked like a kids drawing of a person in that one shot..erm a "stick figure" I think the pun was intended :)
