I've been uploading pictures from Christmas over the past week (oh how I wish I could upload pictures of my family too!) I thought I'd share some of my favorite photos from that day - photos of the food! I've discovered that I have a hidden talent for food photography. In reality, it's not a huge thing - I just get as close as I can and shoot away until I get something good. But, really, I seem to have some subconscious sense of how to make a food photo look mouthwatering and delicious as can be.
Here are some of the many Christmas cookies that were set out for our enjoyment on Christmas day, right after dinner was served.
More cookies! I didn't eat these, because I'd already had my share of other varieties.
These, ladies and gentlemen, are my mom's famous Mint Candy Cane Brownies. They are legendary. Please go look at this in a larger size on Flickr (click on the photo), because the larger it is, the more delicious it looks.
Finally, we have the main course - Prime Rib! This big hunk of juicy American beef was obtained by my uncle, who is a chef at our local Country Club. He knows what good food is, and he gave it to us for Christmas!
