Today Is The Greatest Day I've Ever Known

Ok, we finally have an album title and release date for the next Smashing Pumpkins album, via SP's Myspace message from Billy Corgan. Of course, at this point, Smashing Pumpkins is pretty much whatever Billy says it is, but whatever.

The title will be "Zeitgeist." The release date will be July 7, 2007 (a Saturday - how much you want to be that's going to change?)

Any of those details could change at any moment, in my own opinion, but it's good to at least be able to talk about a new Smashing Pumpkins album, one that will be released this year.

I just hope the music approaches or, hopefully, lives up to expectations.
