Someone on Flickr gave me a link to an article about improving sunset photos. Basically, the article is about watching as sunsets develop, so that you capture the best moments. Tonight, I decided to try that approach and I'm glad I did. I got some amazing results, as you can see:

This is how it started.
A little later, some awesome colors appeared.
The colors became even more spectacular after a short wait!
I really love this circular cloud formation! A few moments later, the wind blew it away.
Lastly, I really love all the different clouds in this shot.
The time span between the first photo and the last photo was only 40 minutes. There were so many different sunset shots in that short period of time! I shall do this again someday.
