New Music For Me

Well, I'm back from the music store. What did I get?

A used copy of Machina by the Smashing Pumpkins

and

Rancho Texicano: The Very Best Of ZZ Top

I'm listening to Machina right now, and it's a big disappointment so far. Musically, it's interesting. But the tunes just aren't there. If you're going to be ambitious, at least have a catchy melody to fall back on. At least I now have the darn thing, even if I probably won't listen to it much. That's why I bought it used.

The ZZ Top disc(s) will prove to be much more enjoyable, I think.
