What is the most unusual band/artist's name that you can think of?

I hesitate to actually type the name of this band, but let's just say it's a combination of two parts of the human anatomy (one an offensive name for a female body part) and it rhymes with "Banal Punt." You can probably figure it out from there.

Can you name any songs that have an actual person's name in the title?

Uhh, let's see. . .

"The Ballad of John and Yoko" by The Beatles

"I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone" by Sleater-Kinney

"My Name Is Prince" by Prince

That's all I can think of for now.

A lot of artists have stage names, can you name at least one artist's real name? (You can do as many as you like)

Ringo Starr is really Richard Starkey.

Slash is really Saul Hudson.

Freddie Mercury was really Farrokh Bulsara

Steve Nieve (of the Attractions) is really Steve Nason.

Joe Strummer was really John Mellor (but Joe Strummer is a much cooler name!)

Iggy Pop is really James Newell Osterberg, Jr.

and lastly . . .

Paul McCartney is really James Paul McCartney

I had to look up some of those on Wikipedia, but I knew they were christened something other than their stage names.

Oddly enough, Prince's real name is Prince. That guy was destined for a strange life.
