Sorry for the lack of blogging lately. I've had some problems with my feet, and I've been instructed to rest them on the bed as much as possible. That means I can't be on the computer as much as usual.
Today I went to CD World and got a head start on shopping for my birthday, which is next week. The store is having a sale right now, so I wanted to take advantage. I didn't find either of my top two choices, but I ended up with some good stuff anyway: Recurring Dream - The Very Best of Crowded House and Night and Day by Joe Jackson. I only intended to purchase one thing, but I saw both of those in the used section, so I decided to splurge. I could have bought Joe's new album Rain, but I figured I should get Night and Day while it was still available used. I also could have bought Crowded House's new one, but I figured I'd rather have a best of so I can learn about them.
I also bought some discs online, and they're staring to arrive. Lake Effect by Liz Carroll came in the mail today, only two days after being shipped! All Things Must Pass by George Harrison has yet to arrive, but I'm sure it will come fairly soon. I hope it will.
I'm listening to the Joe Jackson disc today, and the others I'm saving for closer to my birthday. There is no better way to spend a birthday than with new music.
I'll try to get the Top Five up, if I can find the time. I really doubt I'll do a Flickr Fun post. By the end of the weekend, I may be able to post more.
