Day of Music

In between eating and going to an appointment, I spent most of today listening to music. I've been listening to pieces from NPR's music site. It has a huge archive of concerts, reviews, and more. Just use the search box at the top of the page to look for an artist that interests you. If NPR has show archives about that artist or band, the search results will give you a list of them. I've found things about Elvis Costello, Los Lobos, Duffy, and more. I'm just getting started - I'm sure I'll be exploring this site more in the future.

I've also been watching songs from the Dave Matthews Band Central Park concert DVD. Their horn player, LeRoi Moore, recently passed away. It's sad news, and I thought it would be most appropriate to remember him by watching him do his thing on stage with the rest of the guys. We'll miss you, LeRoi. DMB will never, ever be the same without you.
