I found something new and cool to keep me busy. In this article about 10 amazing Google Earth Add-ons, I discovered a KML file that gathers geotagged Flickr photos and displays them in Google Earth! Yes, we already have Panoramio, but Flickr has many more photos and sometimes more interesting photos. Now it's possible to have both! This is also a great alternative to the Flickr map.
If you use Google Earth and display this file, look for the little red dots. Zoom into a place to see more photos. Of course, you can save the file or add it to your places.
If you want to view one of the photos in a larger size, click on the photo and the corresponding Flickr page will load in your browser.
How cool is this?! I've always wanted a way to view Flickr photos on Google Earth. Now I can!
