Top Five On Friday - 10/3/08

Here's this week's Top Five:

Top 5 songs with really long titles

1) "The Mosquito That Ate Up My Sweetheart In New Iberia Polka" by BeauSoleil
2) "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" by REM
3) "(What's So Funny 'bout) Peace, Love and Understanding" by Elvis Costello
4) "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meat Loaf
5) "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey" by The Beatles

Of course, you could look through the catalogs of today's indie and emo artists and find a ton of long song titles. The above are mostly from my collection.

Want to give your song a long title? Use parentheses!

Funny that of all groups, Rednex has the title for world's largest song title with

"The Sad But True Story Of Ray Mingus, The Lumberjack Of Bulk Rock City, And His Never Slacking Stribe In Exploiting The So Far Undiscovered Areas Of The Intention To Bodily Intercourse From The Opposite Species Of His Kind, During Intake Of All The Mental Condition That Could Be Derived From Fermentation"

Beth, I'm so not going to ask how you know that. Rednex are weird even for Sweden.
