1) You are able to directly support the band, both financially and otherwise.

2) It's one of the few chances you might have to get an autograph or a photo.

3) Live versions of songs are often longer, more intense and more improvisational than the studio versions.

4) You get to hang out with other fans of the band (in some cases, this might not be a good thing!)

5) You never know what will happen. Covers, special guests, extra-long encores, drama, marriage proposals - anything can happen at a show!
