Welcome to the pond

I did it!! I finally did it!! I bought "Grace" by Jeff Buckley. I was shopping for a gift for my sister's birthday, and I decided to look and see if they had Jeff's CD. I nearly didn't find it, but there it was. When I saw the price - $10.99 - I knew I had to get it, and get it now. It would have been $16 or $17 at any other store. Sam Goody, as usual with overpriced corporate giants, didn't even have the thing. If they did, it would have been at least $19. There are some CD's there for $21.99!! That is WAY too expensive for a CD. But anyway, by the "grace" of the music Gods, I found the CD I had to have at a price that made it irresistable. Also, while I was at that store (Fred Meyers, the Wal-Mart of Oregon), I saw a former neighbor of ours. He's a very energetic type of guy, and a HUGE Ducks fan. Always good to see him.

In other money-saving exploits, the paper just happened to have Arby's coupons. And the Valley River Center has an Arby's. Wow. I also went to Ross Dress-for-Less and bought some killer fancy shirts. A really nice blue one made by Bruno, a gray one by Perry Ellis, and a cool red plaid one. Also a couple cool t-shirts and some shorts. lol usually I'm not one to really buy any real nice clothes, or get excited about buying them, but I did and I am.

The thought of the day: Don't give up. Cause if I gave up today, "Grace" would still be sitting on the CD shelves with its $10.99 sticker waiting for a lucky person to buy it. Sometime in the next couple weeks, I'll attempt to write a review of it, which will be posted both here and on my main website.
