Ok! Time to chat about these things called blogs!

Ever since I made my own blog, I've been spending quite a bit of time looking at other people's blogs. Some of them are very cool. People do really neat things with such a simple idea. Many interesting things are written on these blogs......diaries, observations about life, social commentary. Many people include tons of links to sites and other blogs. Some even have little message boards on their blogs so you can talk to people easily. Perhaps someday my blog will look like that.....but first I kinda want a lot of people to visit on a semi regular basis before I get real fancy.

I must admit I find it interesting to see what other people are doing and thinking. You wouldn't get that without the internet. I especially appreciate the funny ones. Take for example this excerpt from Angry White Girl, written about the show American Idol:

"Oh, in case you are cut off from all media outlets or something, and having this read to you 60 years in the future in the second ice age by an old shaman who found it inscribed on some stone tablets.. KELLY WON."

LOL I don't know about you, but I find that very witty and just plain hilarious. Another cool blog is Elfgirl in the City. I gotta mention Elfgirl, not only because her site is very interesting and thoughtful, but she linked back to me and signed my guestbook :) Thanks elfgirl!
