Quick thought before class. I was watching the new John Rzeznik video on MTV (he's the lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls). It occurred to me that, if a lead singer goes solo . . . it isn't THAT much different from what the song would sound like if it were done by the Goo Goo Dolls. So why bother? Profits, my friend, profits. And all the credit goes to him. Also, don't you hate when an artist puts out a "solo" album but gets help from the bandmates?? And if he has a new band, why don't they have a name? It's all in who gets the credit.
