First off, I'm going to try and write a poem tonight. It's taken me long enough, so I figure I should just write SOMETHING. Now that I've publicly declared my intentions, the pressure is on.

It's Meme time. Friday's Feast:

Appetizer
What do you think is the perfect age to get married? To have a first child? To retire?
Married - I'd say 22-30. Child - 23-28. Retirement - 60 is good. Whether I actually do those things during those ages remains to be seen.

Soup
If you could change occupations tomorrow, what would you want to do for a living?
Well, since I'm unemployed, I've got a wide variety of choices. But, right now, what I'd like to do is be a music historian and figure out how certain types of music have changed over the years.

Salad
What does the color green make you think of?
What DOESN'T it make me think of? It makes me think of my alma mater, because our school colors are green and yellow. It makes me think of Oregon and all the green grass and trees we have here. It makes me think of Ireland and the Celtic music I love so much. And it makes me think of "The Matrix," one of the coolest-looking movies ever made.

Main Course
What is something that has happened to you over the last year that you didn't expect?
I became an uncle again. I certainly didn't expect that.

Dessert
How old were you when you had your first kiss?
I think I was six the first time a girl who wasn't a relative kissed me.
