This week's top five from Music Memoirs:

Top Five Love Songs

and

Top Five Love Songs You Hate.

1) "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" by Jeff Buckley (I guess it's sort of a love song, although not a very positive one)
2) "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers. There's something really romantic about telling someone you'd walk that far for them.
3) "Your Song" by Elton John. I fell in love with this one when I saw the movie "Moulin Rouge."
4) "That's When I Love You" by Aslyn. This song reminds me of someone specific, so that's why I like it.
5) "All My Life" by KC and JoJo. I guess some people don't like this song, but to me it's a very honest and simple declaration of love.

I can't really think of any love songs that I hate, unless it's done by Britney Spears or certain boybands. Also, the 50 Cent song where he's telling the girl he loves her like a "fat kid loves cake." WORST line of all time.

I also love "Your Song," but I remember it from the radio when I was about 13. *sigh*

Great choices! I adore the Proclaimers track! It's just a great song all around.
