Here's another post that Blogger lost:

I feel like changing things up a bit today. That's why I'm doing Friday's Feast first.

Appetizer - If you were a color, which color would you be, and why?

Green, maybe? First, I like the color green a lot. Second, green is a color of energy and artistry, and I'm all about that. Also, my college's colors are green and yellow.

Soup - When was the last time you went to the doctor, and what was your reason for going?

I think the last time I went to a doctor was a couple years ago when I went to see my eye doctor. My eyes were bothering me, so I went for a checkup so we could find out what was going on and get a prescription to help it.

Salad - What do you collect?

I collect music! On CDs. I used to collect hockey cards, but I stopped that after high school. I also seem to collect books, because I have more and more of them each year.

Main Course - What were you like in high school? Name one thing you miss and one thing you don't miss about those days. (If you're still there, imagine how you'll remember it in the future.)

I was a good student, well-liked, and busy with my clubs of choice: the school newspaper and yearbook. I didn't really have a "clique" and I spent most of my time talking about the newspaper with the newspaper advisor.

One thing I miss about high school is my sense of ambition and absolute conviction in what I was doing and what I wanted to do. I put all of myself into both my schoolwork and newspaper activities, and it felt good to actually do something and be known for it. I also spent a lot of time at school activities such as plays and sports. I was always out and about doing something, and it was great.

One thing that I don't miss about high school is not having anyone to really "hang out" with. That changed in college a bit, but it might be changing again soon. Of course, it didn't help that my best friend in middle school moved away after 8th grade graduation.

Dessert - Pretend you're standing in front of your home, with your back towards your home. Describe the view - what can you see? Trees? Cars? A zoo? Wal-Mart?

I see our neighbor's backyard, and probably their big ugly truck too. I see some trees, and in the distance I see cars coming down the connecting street. I see another neighbor's house too.
