This week, Top Five On Friday takes us on a trip . . .
Top 5 Songs that get you in the mood for your vacation or for traveling.
1) "Roam" by B-52's. This is an obvious choice
2) "Mojave" by Afro Celt Sound System. It has an exotic sound to it, and the title makes you think of the desert.
3) "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin. Another song with an exotic sound and theme.
4) "(I Can't Drive) 55" by Sammy Hagar. What's a road trip/travel mix without this classic?
5) "Ready To Go" by Republica. When vacation time comes around, you're definitely ready to go!
Honorable Mention: "Going To California" by Led Zeppelin.
This was a good list to make, I think. I don't know too many other vacation-related songs, but I'm sure other people have good picks.
