Welcome to the pond

As usual, I'm late with the Wednesday Mind Hump. This week's hump is all about beating the summer heat.

1. How hot does it usually get in summer where you live?

Usually in the 80s to mid-90s. It's not really that bad here.

2. What's your favorite ice cream treat (or other cold treat)?

I always appreciate a good chocolate milkshake. And, of course, there's nothing simpler than a good ice cream cone.

3. What's your favorite cold beverage?

Soda or ice water.

4. Cubed or crushed ice?

Cubed for me. I want the drink in my mouth, not the ice.

5. Do you prefer swimming in a pool, lake, river or stream?

I prefer the pool. It's much easier to swim in non-moving water.
