Here's something interesting to read - the 50 albums that changed music history, from the Observer of the U.K. This list certainly made me think and ponder. I don't know if I agree with all the choices, or the order they're in, but that doesn't make the list any less interesting.

I agree with most of it, but knowing me I think it is odd that a U.K. person would put Dark Side of the Moon so far back, I think people take for granted its importance. I do however think it was a pretty good choice to have The Velvet Underground and Nico at number 1, I might not put it at one but probably top 10 for changing music history. Two more choices that I really like are having Dylan's "Brining it All Back Home" at number 8, most would put "Highway 61 Revisited" at a better position but "Brining It All Back Home" came before Highway 61 and it featured the rock folk mix first. My last comment is that I love how NWA got the 4 spot with "Straight Outta Compton," I think if people put this album above Sgt. Pepper I wouldn't be too upset because the way it changed the Rap industry is amazing, not to mention I'm not even a rap fan and enjoy the album.
