I went to the mall today, saw a movie and did a little DVD shopping. The movie I saw was "Talladega Nights," which wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. As usual, most of the funny parts were in the trailers. Not good, Hollywood, not good at all.

I did pretty well with the DVD shopping, though. I got the Special Edition of Peter Jackson's "King Kong," which I've been wanting ever since it was released. I also bought a box set of Spiderman 1 and 2 for just $13! It includes both of the movies, in their two-disc editions! It doesn't get better than that. Tonight I'm going to try to find Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night," which I didn't find at Circuit City today. I'm also waiting for a Gaelic Storm CD to arrive in the mail from Amazon.com. Hopefully it will come tomorrow!

Here's the Top Five On Friday:

Top 5 songs that best describe your current "mood"

1) "Hot Hot Hot" by Buster Poindexter. It was VERY hot today! I'm glad I didn't have to stay outside any more than necessary.
2) "Waiting On The World To Change" by John Mayer. Like John, I'm waiting for changes in the world, but I'm also waiting for that Gaelic Storm CD!
3) "Photograph" by Def Leopard. I'm very proud of the photos I've been taking lately. You can see some of them in the post from yesterday.
4) "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran. It's getting close to dinnertime, and I'm hungry!
5) "Don't Worry Baby" by Los Lobos. I have no worries on my mind, and it feels good!
