Take Me Back Tuesday - 10/10/06

Natalie MacMaster's new album is out today, so I went and picked it up. I also picked up The Who's "Tommy" for just a ten-spot. Well, a ten-spot minus a penny, if you want to be specific. I'll post a short review of Natalie's album sometime tomorrow or the next day, after I've had some time to spend listening to it. So far, though, I think it's quite different from her other albums and shows amazing growth in her studio performance.

Here is Take Me Back Tuesday, very late:

Seeing as my almost never gets sick self caught the office plague, this one is all about music that makes you feel better when you're under the weather.

Three songs.

"Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix (SRV's version is just a tad less happy).
"Ayub's Song/As You Were" by Afro Celt Sound System
"Stumptown" by Nickel Creek

Three artists.

Afro Celt Sound System
Sarah McLachlan
The Beatles

Three albums.

Sgt. Pepper by The Beatles
L'amour Ou La Folie by BeauSoleil
Any album by Weird Al Yankovic
