- First things first: Blogger now allows you to add images to your blog header! I fixed up a little pond header in paint using a photograph I took of the Eugene Millrace/duck pond. I think it looks pretty good, although the text could be centered a little better. Paint isn't a very forgiving program, and I don't have photoshop. Let me know what you think of it!
*Update* I cropped the header image so that it is 1) A little smaller and 2) More centered.
- I'm doing a very good job of avoiding spoilers for "Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End." I haven't read any articles about it (except for one about Geoffrey Rush - I couldn't help myself on that one.) I don't want to know ANYTHING about that movie, at all! I want to see it with fresh eyes and an open mind.
- Spoilers that I'm NOT avoiding are clips and songs from Smashing Pumpkins' new album Zeitgeist. I'm loving what I'm hearing so far. "Tarantula," the first single, really grows on you.
- I haven't really talked about this before on here, but I'm applying for Graduate School. I'm trying to get into the U of O's College of Education for a Special Education degree with an emphasis in Autism. I'm hoping to work with Autistic students when I graduate, especially those, like myself, with Asperger's Syndrome. Tomorrow, I should hear from one of the program directors of the Autism preparation program about whether or not I've been accepted. If I have been, I'll be a student again this fall!
