Favorite Beatles Song

This article asks stars at the Toronto International Movie Festival about their favorite Beatles song. As you can predict, the answers vary and some can't make up their minds.

This sounds like a good challenge. There are so many good Beatles songs that picking your favorite will inevitably make you think about them.

What's my favorite Beatles song? Today, I think my favorite is . . .

And Your Bird Can Sing

Why? Because it's a short little burst of pop and rock pleasure. The melody is incredibly catchy, the guitar is bright, and the whole package makes me happy every time I hear it. I usually have it in my head for a long time after I listen, and I'll often sing it to myself. The melody is like a piece of candy - it gives me an instant shot of joy if I hear even a little. Also, it's John's most Paul-like song. It just sounds like The Beatles.

I thought about picking "Let It Be" as my favorite Beatles song, but it just doesn't fill me with pleasure like "And Your Bird Can Sing." The lyrics are very profound, though. But, in the end, I have to go with my first choice.

Now it's your turn. What is YOUR favorite Beatles song? Be brave! Make a decision and defend it!

My theme song: Nowhere Man
I've loved that one since I was little and watched Yellow Submarine for the first time. Something about this song has always seemed to feel like my life

The first Beatles song I fell in love with was I'll Follow The Sun

I must be the only person in the world that hates the Beatles. As far as I'm concerned, they are barely talented musicians who got lucky.

Two down. Two to go.
